CIA World FActbook - updated annual, this includes a listing of religions by adherents and sometimes includes the percent of the total population.

NationMaster - religion statistics by country.

Pluralism Project: World Religions in America (Harvard Uni.) looks at religious diversity in the United States.

World Christian Database - "provides comprehensive statistical information on world religions, Christian demoninations and people groups.

International Religious Freedom Report - "published annually by the US Dept. of State, this report describes the status of religious freedom in every country.
