Materials Science & Engineering R: Reports publishes invited review papers covering the full spectrum of materials science and engineering. The reviews, both experimental and theoretical, provide general background information as well as a critical assessment on topics in a state of flux.

The journal covers all aspects of materials science and related disciplines, including fundamental and applied research, with a focus on studies with broad impact that can cross traditional subject boundaries.

Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing (MSSP) is essentially an engineering dynamics journal. It aims to publish the results of high-quality research characterised by the originality of the science and its significance in terms of advancing the methods and procedures of signal processing and related topics in mechanical, civil and aerospace engineering.

Nature Materials covers all applied and fundamental aspects of the synthesis/processing, structure/composition, properties and performance of materials, where "materials" are identified as substances in the condensed states (liquid, solid, colloidal) designed or manipulated for technological ends.

The scope of the journal encompasses all nonlinear dynamic phenomena associated with mechanical, structural, civil, aeronautical, ocean, electrical and control engineering systems. Physical Review Fluids (PRFluids) is dedicated to publishing innovative research that will significantly advance the fundamental understanding of fluid dynamics. PRFluids embraces both traditional fluid dynamics topics and newer areas, such as bio-related fluid dynamics, micro- and nanoscale flows, fluid mechanics of complex fluids and soft materials, and geophysical and environmental flows.

Physics of Fluids is the preeminent journal devoted to publishing original theoretical, computational, and experimental contributions to the understanding of the dynamics of gases, liquids, and complex or multiphase fluids.

Progress in Aerospace Sciences is an international review journal designed to be of broad interest and use to all those concerned with research in aerospace sciences and their applications in research establishments, industry and universities. The journal is devoted primarily to the publication of specially commissioned review articles designed to bring together under one cover current advances in the ever-broadening field of aerospace sciences. The coverage of the journal includes timely reviews in aeronautics and astronautics, especially in important aerospace areas such as aero- and gas dynamics, aero-and space structures, flight mechanics of air and space vehicles, materials, vibrations, aeroelasticity, acoustics, aero- and space propulsion, avionics, and occasionally some related areas as well, such as wind engineering and hydrodynamics.

The Journals publishes high quality original research articles and general reviews in fundamental research aspects of aeronautics/astronautics propulsion and power engineering, including, but not limited to, system, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, combustion, vibration and acoustics, solid mechanics and dynamics, control and so on.
