You may be able to get the standard yourself from one of the sources listed below. If you can't find it, you can request it through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Request Article or Book service.

Please note:

We will try to acquire standards in support of your thesis and dissertation research.
The acquisition process may take 4-8 weeks or longer.

ASSIST - Quick Search (Public Release)
This site may be accessed by anyone on the World Wide Web, without any credentials, and is limited to providing Defense Standardization Program (DSP) documents that have been cleared for public release.
ASSIST - Public/Restricted
Access to this site requires registration to obtain a User ID and Password. This site provides more services to the user (creates custom profiles to track changes to specific or entire sets or documents, email alert notifications, detailed contact information, reports, etc.).
ASSIST - Private (CAC Access)
This site is accessible only by Department of Defense (DOD) employees or DOD contractors with approved credentials. This site provides the same access as the Public/Restricted website
and includes additional administrative functions that are exclusively intended for use by the DSP community.
