DOD Instruction 3200.12: DOD Scientific and Technical Information Program (STIP)
This issuance amends policy directing public access to publically releasable peer-reviewed scholarly publications, require projects to include DMPs, and updates procedures to gain access to federally funded scientific research results.

Increasing access to the results of federally-funded research
February 23, 2013 | Each Federal agency with over $100 million in annual conduct of research and development expenditures must develop a plan to support increased public access to the results of research funded by the Federal Government. This includes any results published in peer-reviewed scholarly publications that are based on research that directly arises from Federal funds, as defined in relevant OMB circulars (e.g., A-21 and A-11).
